Client's request
- Wall covering for cheese shaping room to prevent mold formation and bacterial or fungal proliferation, while still maintaining the room washable and sanitizable daily as needed;
- Minimum possible thickness of the product, given the already small size of the room;
Challenges
- use of a material that does not promote the propagation of mold and rust;
- utilization of a thin yet durable material;
- utilization of an easily washable material;
Adopted solution
- Protection panel: only 6mm thick, with visible bark in fiberglass with inert fiber cement support. Easily washable panel, resistant to solvents, mold, and biofilm formation.
